As you can see by my non-cap on the turn, I thought about slowing down, but then stepped on the gas again.. after the turn call, should I have called or continued to raise?

Thanks in advance for your thoughts..

Why did you raise the river? What did you put BB on that made you think you were ahead?

I figured some variation of AT, KT or QT. I was guessing he wasn't AT spades because I didn't think he would reraise earlier with the nut flush draw. To be honest, I didn't consider the TT and that was apparently my big mistake here..

A few things to consider: BB raised preflop. I don't think he raises any of those hands preflop except maybe ATs-which would rule out the nut flush draw-but that's besides the point. You cap the flop and BB still bets the turn and even makes it 3-bets when you raise again. Do you think he would be betting this nuts with just top pair, an overpair or a flush draw?

Anytime the board pairs on the turn or river and the PF raiser keeps coming at me, I have to give him credit for possibly having a boat.

Getting into a raising war on the river here is just plain foolish. You lost four bets when you only should have lost one. Not good at all.

Has basic handreading gone completely out the window lately on this forum?

What are you putting him on when he blasts away at the river? His turn 3 bet should be telling you something. Especially his river 3 bet. Look at the friggin' board. You dont have near the nuts.

btw...To answer your question, no. You shouldve wished you were in a casino where there was no limit HU. Then after a rack or 2 ya might actually put him on a hand.
