4 hands from last night. 2 tables each with a Whale-sized fish. By the end of my 2 hour session I was up 75BB thanks to them.

Hand #1 - UTG+1 is a king fish, loose and highly aggressive. Should I cap the flop? Put UTG+1 on a hand.

I raised here to narrow the field. I don't like playing this hand with a large number in. Comments?

I would have.

I think you should have removed your foot from the brake and put both feet on the gas. You flopped the 3rd nut hand and finished with the same. I see no reason to think you aren't ahead here.

Hand 3 I think your play was fine. Some will argue that it was a loose pf raise. I wouldn't disagree that it is but will sometimes raise here myself.

Hand 4 I would normally come in raising pf. I wouldn't always but at a table full of "whale-sized fish" as you put it I would.

Nice hands. On hand 2, I would have 3-bet either the flop or the turn. If he caps I start to worry about a bigger flush, but until then I assume I am ahead.

Nice hands. I like all of these, apart from 2 things. The second (slowing down on hand four) you know, and the first I might be very wrong about --

Is it right to be raising hand 1? You very well might have the best hand pre-flop -- then again, you very well might not. I assume the raise is to get it heads up, and JTs just doesn't play all that well heads up, even against a complete & utter maniac. Of course, postflop is beautiful.

Am I completely off base?

Clarification, table was not full of whale sized fish...just one player. This girl would raise whenever she received 2 cards. At one point she was up to $160...The table cleaned that out...she bought in again with another $50 and I left as we cleaned that out too. It was a sight to see. She would raise the river with nothing! This wasn't once in a while either..it was ALL the time. Simply amazing.

So in hand 2 MP1 gave you two opportunities to raise him, do you believe he is in the lead? And if so why do you call a bet on the river?
