I would've raise preflop. Anyone who limps in LMP deserves to be punished /images/graemlins/laugh.gif he did happen to play well postflop if he's holding T9, where playing well means knowing to check-raise the river against an aggressive player who probably has something pretty good.

When he raised on the turn, what did you put him on?

I keep reading that turn raises, (unless it is a short-handed game) should not be ignored.

It's hard not to bet top two on the river when checked to.
