when you mention raising 3x the bb do you mean you should raise from a bb of 30 to 90, or should your raise be 3x the bb to a total of 120?

when someone said they made a 4x bb raise, i'm pretty sure it means they made it 4x bb. in other words, bb is 30. if i wanted to make a 4x bb raise i would make it 120.
