You do know you're playing the board on the end, don't you?

I usually try to avoid spraying chips heads-up on the river on hands where I can do no better than chop.

The best you can do here is a chop so why not save yourself some rake?

River play makes no sense.

You lose to a 7...you chop with anything else.

Please explain the logic behind your river action. Your opponent knows that he plays the board.

I don't raise on the river. But let's say I'm drunk or having a seizure and accidently raise on the river. I don't call when he reraises. He's got a 7.

I probably fold on the flop. No real outs you can be sure of, especially in low limit Party. Why cap the river, or for that matter raise it?

The river was a complete FUBAR. I was looking for the 5 that I got after getting a free card on the turn and got it that I completely did not realize that we were playing the board. A stupid mistake.

My biggest question on this hand was my flop action. I didn't see what hand UTG could have reasonably called with and then bet out on the flop. I figured myself to have 10 outs - a gutshot (4 outs) and two overcards that were likely to be good (6 outs).

I had hoped the flop raise would get us heads up and get me a free card on the turn in case I didn't catch, which it did, then I screwed up on the river.

So... general consensus - should I have folded this flop?

(and my opponent did have a 7 and I lost. I will pay more attention to the board in the future. Quite an amateurish mistake to make).
