So I was playing partypoker last night in the 32 + 3 nl qualifier to the 600 + 40 WSOP qualifier, and top 16 get a spot.

Its down to the last two tables, blinds are 750 and 1500, and the BB has T1500 after posting. Its folded to SB, and he announces "I'm going to help you," completes the blind, and then folds without the BB even betting. The BB ended up making it into the top 16.

Obviously this is soft playing, and maybe I'm being a bit bitter because I ended up finishing 17th, so one person away from qualifying for the next tournament, but I just felt like this was unfair. Am I just being a baby, or do I have a legitimate gripe.

I would send party an email. You have a very VALID gripe. I know I had a similar situation on Pokerstars and they paid me out. Now mine was just in a regular sit and go, but that is blatant collusion.

In general whenever you suspect something, email support.

I emailed them with a lot of data, including the specific hand, what was said in the chat box, etc... Let's hope this gets rectified. Thanks for the advice.
