Somewhat tighter game than the typical party 0.5/1. MP3 is new to the table.

Party Poker 0.50/1 Hold'em (9 handed)

Preflop: Hero is BB with T/images/graemlins/spade.gif, T/images/graemlins/heart.gif.
UTG folds, UTG+1 calls, MP1 folds, MP2 folds, MP3 calls, CO folds, Button folds, SB completes, Hero raises, UTG+1 calls, MP3 calls, SB calls.

Flop: (8 SB) 5/images/graemlins/club.gif, 7/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 5/images/graemlins/diamond.gif <font color="blue">(4 players) </font>
SB checks, Hero bets, UTG+1 folds, MP3 calls, SB folds.

Turn: (5 BB) A/images/graemlins/spade.gif <font color="blue">(2 players) </font>
Hero bets, MP3 calls.

River: (7 BB) 2/images/graemlins/spade.gif <font color="blue">(2 players) </font>
Hero...
Final Pot: ...
What would you do?

I would bet. It's doubtful that the river helped your opponent and he didn't raise when the Ace hit on the turn.

I checked and he checked behind, showing A2o to take the pot. I did not want to get check-raised on the river. I wasn't worried about the paired flop, but I thought an Ace holder might check-raise me.

Not so much the 3-bet, but wasting a bet anyways. I am starting to notice a trend in ML games. If an Ace falls and you dont have one? Be very skeeereeeeedddd /images/graemlins/smile.gif

same thing, check/call is the right move IMO
