Hi Folks,

I am finally considering a permanent move to higher level tourneys. I have been playing mainly $50 NL Tourneys on PP with a 40+ % ROI. I have had roughly equal success (just 2% lower) at the $100 level. My BR is over 4000K and I have picking up over 4K per month for the last 5 months. I feel quite confident in my game.

So what advice do you have for moving up to the $200 level?
Do you find these games much different than the $100's?
I know most folks think your BR should be 10x the buyins and I have double that. Does anyone think that is not enough?
Finally, which site do you think is weakest at this level. Party has the reputation for being weak, but lately I think it has toughened up (at least at the 50 and 100 level). Any thoughts in this regard would be great.

I played with you today pitcher, ur a very strong opponent, U beat me Heads UP in a 50+5. I think u should be able to handle ur own in the 100's. YOu play very well short handed, and mixed it up in the later parts of the tourney.

How many $50s or $100s do you play at a time?

Hi Eastbay,

I normally play 1 or 2. About 50% of the time I play two.

BTW - FletchJr, thanks for the nice comments.

Just another variable you might want to consider for boosting hourly rate. For now, I am preferring to keep 2 in motion at the $50 level than move to $100. I seem to do better that way, although I don't have enough experience at the $100 level yet to say for sure.
