Looking ahead: Spurs v Lakers

The Lakers have struggled on the road and have been inconsistant at home. Anyone else really like the Spurs? They'll probabaly be a small dog for the series despite having home court. Seems like this impending series could be a great betting opportunity just as it was last year.

Yes, I agree. In fact who needs baseball, when fading the Lakers will be profitable again. I won $9600 last season on game six.

While I don't expect to repeat that feat this year (and I think the Spurs will be a small favorite in the series) there will be chances to fade the Lakers. Shaq is a shell of his championship self (3/11 from the foul line today) and Kobe is erratic. Plus the matchups really favor the Spurs. Bowen will guard Kobe and Gary Payton will have a hard time with Tony Parker.

I can't wait, but I will.
