Not sure if this has been posted, but the TV schedule is out for the WSOP. Lots of new events, I hope they have the lipstick hole cams for the others events as well. Tivo is going to be one busy man this summer.

Wow. Looks like 9 shows of the main event. I'm assuming the listings of WSOP are for the 10k no limit. The no limit is probably the smaller one.

It'll be great to see PL0, Stud, 2-7 and razz. Wow again. Wonder if Mason ever thought that Razz would be on ESPN.

Great news. But they couldn't show one high-low event. /images/graemlins/confused.gif

Razz on ESPN? Isn't that one of the signs of the Apocalypse?

Seriously. Why put razz on TV over Omaha8 or Stud8?

I think it's easier to explain to, and read the boards for, normal viewers.

Can you imagine the announcers trying to talk through a O/8 hand?

Yes Bobby has a set right now with backdoor flush and wheel potential. If he's counterfeited with a 3 then the 74 low will scoop half the pot, and since Ed over here has 2 back door flush possibilities and Earl has an A2, we should see some action. There you have it, CAPPED betting!

2-7 TD will be fun as hell to watch on TV. At least ESPN realizes how popular poker shows are.

Maybe they'll also pick up Family Guy.

Hopefully, this will get some more of the fish interested in games like PLO. The learning curve in this seems a lot higher than NLHE. Wouldn't it be cool if your friends invited you to their weekly game and the game of choice was PLO? Half the guys probably wouldn't be clear on the 2 from your hand, 3 from the board rule.

I met be mistaken but I think a lot more big names have traditionally played in the razz even then say Stud8 or Omaha8. I think they're looking at probable contestents more than they are the game itself.

Razz turnouts are always low. Omaha8 are bigger.

I completely agree with this. I tried to explain some simple stuff to my mom when it was just hold'em about kickers and stuff and it was painful. I can't even imagine split pots, getting quartered, etc.... ugh.
