2K max buy on prima, 10-20 blinds. Jay! is my RHO.
Jay opens for 60 in MP, and I cold-call with A /images/graemlins/club.gifK /images/graemlins/club.gif. Everyone else folds.
The flop is J88 rainbow, one club. We both check.
The turn is a low brick. Jay bets $120 and I call.
The river is another brick. We both check.

I don't know the dynamics of the $10-$20 no limit game on Prima Poker so I'll assume a cold-call with AKs is fine. I think you had reason to believe your hand was still good on the turn. It seems unlikely that Jay! will have a Jack or an eight, here, and he shut down after he bet the turn so the only thing I can imagine you losing to is a small pocket pair. I would not be surprised if you beat KQ or split with AK.

I think this is a good place to raise Jay on the flop.

Raising a check is technically called a "bet". No wonder you're the best NLHE player in your dreams.

I'll assume you mean bet the flop.
There are several reasons I don't want to bet the flop; one being I want him to bet a hand that has few outs on the turn.

This was pretty much my thinking, and also echoes why I didn't bet the river.
OTOH, I'm not sure how big of a bet Jay can call on the river with a hand like 77...or if he would call a bet at all with AQ.
