I was watching my buddy play in the 200 + NL multi on UB last night. About 150 started, top 20 got paid. Start with 2000 chips, and its down to about 55 people.

He has about 4200 chips which is a little below average, and blinds are 100-200.

He's dealt 99 in MP, and its folded to him. Blinds are 100-200, and he bets the pot. Its folded to the BB. Now the BB was just the chip leader of the tournbament and lost about 75% of his chips on the previous hand, so we think he might be steaming a bit. The BB bets the pot right back at him. What do you do?

I'd probably fold. Even if you only put your opponent on A10 of j10 are you really going to risk your entire stack with those odds when you only have a small portion of your stack in the pot. You didn't mention how big the BB's stack was ? Who cares if he is tilting he still gets to see 5 cards to improve and it's tough to improve on 99.
