Party 2-4. You're in the small blind. The Big Blind is passive.

Mid player limps. Late player limps. What do you do with:

A) 33
B) A2s
C) 45s
D) QJo

You must stop posting OT. This belongs in the Small Stakes forum. We don't give 2nd warnings.

what great advice!

A) 33

Super easy call. You're getting 7:1 to spike your set (7.5:1 against) and have great implied odds.

If you were in LP and four players limped to you, what would you do? You're getting the same pot odds here, and your implied odds are better.

B) A2s

Similar situation as above. Think about what you'd do if you had this hand and four players limped to you in LP.

C) 45s

Closer than B), but still an easy call. You should complete with any two suited after two limpers in a 1/2 blind structure.

D) QJo

Closest decision of all, but still a call, typically. I'd only fold if one of the limpers was a super-rock who is likely to have me dominated.

It's a sad sad day when Homer reserves his advice to the Zoo.

Hehe. The number of posts in the SS and Micro-Limit forums these days makes me dizzy. /images/graemlins/confused.gif

Thanks, Homer and Daryn.

I posted this for a couple of reasons. First for the advice.

Second, as a bit of experiment as to where one could come on this site for advice.

After reading David Ross' post in General forum, I posted a thread asking for advice on playing from blinds with 7-1 odds. Several looks, one response.
I figured I'd get a better response in Small Stakes. Or would I?
I posted this thread right after posting a similar thread on Small Stakes. Although it's only been a short while, the response on the Internet forum was better.

Didn't David say he would play any hand from the SB getting 7:1 odds? I think he played 43o or something like that? If so, he is wrong.

That's the one. He did later explain his thinking a little, but...

the truth is he plays much worse hands with much worse odds from his blinds

But 90% of your last 50 posts have been in...well...ah forget it.
