Good evening/morning fellas,
I've been fairly successful at the limit 1/2's for Party, but decided I needed to give NL a try. Sitting at a $25 NL on the second orbit, no reads on the villain yet...

Party Poker Pot-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (8 handed)

UTG+1 ($42.65)
MP1 ($116.90)
MP2 ($51)
CO ($94.45)
Hero ($24.25)
SB ($21)
BB ($36.12)
UTG ($14.50)

Preflop: Hero is Button with 6/images/graemlins/club.gif, A/images/graemlins/club.gif.
UTG raises to $1, UTG+1 folds, MP1 calls $1, MP2 folds, CO folds, Hero calls $1, SB folds, BB calls $0.50.

Flop: ($4.25) 6/images/graemlins/heart.gif, A/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 4/images/graemlins/club.gif <font color="blue">(4 players) </font>
BB checks, UTG checks, MP1 checks, Hero bets $4, BB folds, UTG folds, MP1 raises to $8, Hero raises to $23.25 (All-In)...

What do you guys think of the all in?

The all-in was good

A /images/graemlins/club.gif, 6 /images/graemlins/club.gif called a raise???? Not my normal play.

it's a fine move, you have outs, plus there are draws out there so there's a good chance you'll get called.

calling a 1 dollar raise with a suited Ace is a great move anyhow, it's no limit, huge implied odds if you hit, that's if it's only a small raise

I'm still experimenting with what hands I want to play with in NL. I figured for a min raise it made sense to play due to my position and pot odds. I could easily get away if I miss the flop. Anyway the results weren't so good. MP1 shows 6d6s for the final 2 six's and the winning set. Bummer. Anyway, I would like some more critique on my PF cold call. Is that the right move on the button?
