New to the table so no reads. I'm all ready to CR the turn when the board pairs, so I bet instead intending to fold to a raise. Good idea or bad? Bet the flop instead?

PokerStars 2/4 Hold'em (6 handed)

Preflop: Hero is SB with T/images/graemlins/heart.gif, A/images/graemlins/diamond.gif.
UTG calls, MP folds, CO folds, Button calls, Hero completes, BB checks.

Flop: (4 SB) A/images/graemlins/spade.gif, T/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, Q/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (4 players)
Hero checks, BB bets, UTG calls, Button folds, Hero calls.

Turn: (3.50 BB) Q/images/graemlins/spade.gif (3 players)
Hero bets, BB times-out and is all-in, UTG calls.

River: (5.50 BB) 2/images/graemlins/club.gif (3 players)

I think you need to C/R the flop. The turn really sucked for you but for some reason UTG decided to play his trips like a little girl. UTG saved you some bets.

I like betting this flop as there are lots of worse hands that can raise, allowing you to 3-bet, which is nice, especially with the A diamonds.
