Easier to ask /images/graemlins/smile.gif

To keep the numbers simple and sane:

Assume a WR of 2 BB/100 and a SD of 20

Expected winning after 1000 hands would be 20 BB. After 10,000 hands 200 BB. What's the SD for 1000, 10,000 or any other variable number of hands?

Is there a relatively simple way to calculate it based on the SD per 100?

Thanks

SD is based on the square root of the number of units in question so for X hands you SD would be:

SD/X = sqrt(X/100)*SD/100

where SD/X is the desired result
SD/100 is you SD per 100
and X = number of hands
