Hi all-
Does anyone have experience with the boxlike clear acrylic 1000 chip cases as sold on ebay? Will it last? Good purchase? I'm tired of my busted up cardboard box.
Thanks
I bought a 500 Aluminum case and its great

I got the 1000 capacity aluminum case from 5stardeal.com and it's great. It was pretty cheap too. Something like $40-50, which is pretty cheap for such a big case.
They also sell the clear cases which are designed to hold chips in racks. I haven't seen them up close, but most cardrooms have something like that and i imagine it is similar...

All my reply posts (and I think you had some too) pushing the great deals at 5star must have paid off, I see they had an ad running this month in CardPlayer magazine. I hope they do well because I have had nothing short of great service when i buy from them.
That 1000 chip case has got to be heavy as hell. People are shocked when they lift my 500 chip case.

I'd want to get into that game and take home some souvenirs.

I just posted this in another thread, but if you want to store your chips in the racks, I think this will be a better solution...http://tinyurl.com/yvd8g
It actually fits the chips in the racks perfectly...
