Fortunate for me I never had to pay tuition. I made about $3000 in the 1st 2 months of playing. Very lucky at PP, hmmm?

Well moved up too fast and got spanked.

I think all new players go through a special learning process.

1. Read a book. You learn the hands to play.
2. Read another book. You lose.
3. Reread the 1st book. Then you actually play the hands you learned to play.
4. You lose more.
5. Reread the 1st and 2nd book. You learn the way to play them.
6. More losing.
7. You have an epiphany and tighten up playing correcly with less mistakes. You read 5 other books
8. Struggle playing and reevaluate your game. Read more books.
9. Struggle playing and reevaluate your game. Read more books.
10. Struggle playing and reevaluate your game. Read more books.
11. You have your 2nd epiphany and discover the why to the process and tighten up playing correcly with less mistakes.
12. Struggle a bit less laying and reevaluate your game.
13. Tighten up your games some more, ahh minor profit!
14. Still struggling some. Reread all your books.
15. You put your knowledge of other players to use against them.
16. The 3rd epiphany hits. Now you peer deeper into the game itself determining who has what hand and that your 8 outs are really only 2.
17. Profit! Read more books and reread old ones.
18. Dunno, thats where I am at, 14 books later and a cheat sheet.

The profit has finally started to show. Discovered that I was playing my winning hands correctly and forcing others to make mistakes. But now I have discovered how not to make mistakes on my own. Thanks HappySunFace /images/graemlins/smile.gif
