i'm heavily invested in the AFL wooden spoon market - i like "coming last" markets in sporting events - its hard to come last for most teams - there are usually only a couple of teams that can do it - this year pre-season there were 2 front runners - the dogs who won it last year, and the blues who have been ravaged by draft penalties after breaching the salary cap a couple of years ago as well as generational change - the blues however did a smart thing after the turmoil of getting caught cheating the draft - they spent all thier remaining money on a proven coach
i dont reckon a former premiership coach is capable of coaching the team that comes last so i've layed the blues heavily - 850 odd english pounds at about 2.6/1 - so far the blues are 1-2 whilst the dogs are 0-3 - i'm loving the blues
tonight its the blues and the bombers at the G - traditional melbourne rivals - i'm excited
manilla later - as usual its all good
