In Tenet's testimony he said that he did not talk to Bush while Bush was in Texas. The CIA later said that Tenet did brief Bush in Texas on August 17th.

Tenet said he learned about Moussaoui on August 23rd or 24th in a briefing to top CIA officials.

According to the White House web site, Tenet was in Crawford, Texas on August 24th and there was a CIA Briefing involving Bush.

You need to search through this article to find it, but he mentions the CIA briefing and the fact that Tenet was there "yesterday". It is clear that this interview took place on the 25th, because he mentions that the day before he had the new Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff there (their appointments were made on the 24th).

So he was there at least twice and he lied about it.

I can't believe I'm becoming one of these guys who looks at these sorts of things.

I guess no one is interested in this. Should I start checking my apartment for bugs.

Something that Bush said in his press conference really struck a chord with me.

He said, "A country that hides something is a country that is afraid of getting caught." Absolutely right Mr. President.

For the record I don't believe that they knew when it was going to happen or could have easily stopped it, but I don't think they are telling us the truth about everything.
