I HATE it when people don't cap pre-flop w/ AA. Cuz when I have KK, I feel like I'm in the lead. /images/graemlins/tongue.gif Nice move. I hope you won.

Unless button is a clown and would 3-bet with 66 or Axs, without any specific read I'd cap here...Oh wait.

Maybe you should just call the 3-bet.

So you passed up on a gauranteed 1 BB PF, so you could make more money on later streets.

This time you made 2 BB on the end for a net gain of 1 BB.

I dunno, I just see this play all the time and I don't understand how its really worth it. Is KK going to fold on the flop if you cap PF? I doubt it.

I understand this play in HU situations, but I think you are giving up too much when other players are in the pot.

Hi

When itīs 3 or more to the flop I dont mind giving my hand away by capping preflop.

Heads up I would just call the 3bet.

I cap pre flop....you're missing out on bets all those times he 3 bets you pre flop with hands that don't warrent it and then the flop and turn comes rags and he folds to your river bet

I'm not sure where you're getting at with that "and?"? Almost sounds as though you thought I was bragging, while I was merely looking for opinions.

KK is not going to fold, neither would QQ or JJ. I was trying to be smart, bet, the flop, hoping for a raise, then CR the turn and... well. Maybe I should play them more straightforward.

Yes. You're right. I was somehow, not thinking really (as usual), trying to keep the other player in for a little longer. Not sure what I was doing.
