Her money will be a great influence in this campaign.

She is sort of a wacko. Read this Article (http://www.newsmax.com/archives/ic/2004/4/15/130542.shtml)

His wife, Teresa Heinz, used to call herself an "African American," but when it comes to hiring top staff for his presidential campaign, Sen. John Kerry apparently prefers white folks.

Kerry is calling for complete disclosure of all candidates tax filings, except for his wife's filings that is. Ok they have a pre-nup blah, blah, blah but I believe she has loaned Kerry's campaign money and she does have some effect on this campaign since she's his wife. Does Kerry benifit financially from being married to her? I would certainly think so.

Heres something from Drudge

In December '03, Kerry announced that he loaned his campaign $6.4 Million by mortgaging a share of a Boston home he jointly owns with his wife.

Teresa Heinz Kerry paid cash for the Beacon Hill mansion in January 1995.

But according To Kerry's own 1994 senate personal financial disclosure [signed May, 15, 1995], Kerry's own personal net worth was somewhere between a negative $130,000 to positive $34,995.

The current loan on the house carries an annual interest payment of $200,000, records show, more than Kerry's $158,000 Senate salary.

Kerry's campaign insists he intends to pay off the 30-year mortgage himself.

"Sen. Kerry is a man who has considerable assets," spokesman Michael Meehan explains.

But Kerry's own financial disclosures show no assets sufficient to pay the loan -- or even a way to keep up with the interest payments!

From the national reveiw

Meanwhile, spokesman Meehan is declining to say whether Kerry paid for his one-half interest in a 17-century Dutch painting that he and his wife, multimillionaire heiress Teresa Heinz Kerry, sold last year for $1,350,000

The couple acquired the painting, by the seascape artist Adam Willaerts, in May 1996 for $1,000,000. They sold it in March 2003, recording a capital gain of $350,000. Kerry reported his half of that gain, $175,000, on his 2003 return. It was his largest single source of income that year; his Senate salary for 2003 was $147,818.

National Review Online asked Meehan whether Kerry, whose 1996 income was $143,795, actually paid $500,000 for his half of the painting in the original purchase.

"They jointly held the painting for investment purposes," Meehan said.

Asked again whether Kerry paid for his half of the picture, Meehan answered, "I can tell you that it was Sen. Kerry's and his wife's painting that they held together since 1996."

Kerry would have sunk with out that loan. His campaing is directly benefiting from the wealth of his wife. If Kerry is really as open as he says he is, those tax records should be released.
