Playing Party 5/10, I get dealt A /images/graemlins/diamond.gif T /images/graemlins/club.gif in the SB. A player limps UTG; I have noticed this player is quite aggressive with marginal holdings after the flop. I just complete. The calling station BB knocks.

Flop is A /images/graemlins/heart.gif T /images/graemlins/heart.gif x /images/graemlins/heart.gif.

I check, BB checks, UTG bets and we both call.

Turn is the blank of blanks.

Checked to UTG who bets, I raise.

I don't think it matters how your opponent plays post flop here, I think raising preflop makes you money regardless.

I agree with raising preflop. sure you have a positional disadvantage, but your hand should be the best and you should be able to play well post flop

raising preflop is good. on this kind of flop you should take initiative and get as many bets into the pot as possible early, so bet out. usually follow through on the turn unless its both a heart and someone capped the flop

May I suggest an ultralaggy hand for your 1000th post.

Geez....first JJ now ATo short-handed? What's happening to you in the SB? I second the raise preflop.

Given the way you played it, this is a great line to take.
