Your general description would go here
{{D: 4/11/04 - H: 333 - VP$IP: 100
PFR: 100 - WSD: 100 - FRB: 100
FSB: 100 - FBB: 100 - ASB: 100
VPIP-SB: 100 - CR: 100 - AF: 100.00}}

I mainly play shorthanded so I rely on my notes/stats heavily and blind play/defense is very important.

i bounce around between head-to-head, short-table and full-table so my opponents stats can be a bit screwy and it's sometimes difficult to tell too much.

i use VPIP, SF-ALL and PFR heavily. by combining these numbers i can get a good idea of whether i have many hands against the opponent shorthanded (without having to look it up seperately).

thankfully, a PFR of 1-2 or a VPIP of 13 holds true no matter what.
it's the guys that are VPIP 32 where you can't be certain because he could be a guy you played some 6-max with....
if the same guy has SF-ALL 36 and their PFR 2 then you know you are dealing with a loose-passive fish.

i will be very interested to see what all the players around here, almost all of whom are better than me, are looking at the most....particularly the blind-steal stats which i don't really use yet.

i was using the attempt/folded to blind steal stats, but i never looked at them so i stopped. presently using total hands, vpip, pfr, and wtsd.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

AF-TOT: 1.5 AF-F: 2.0 AF-T: 6.0 AF-R: 4.0}}

I dont use the agggression stats as much as I should.I need to do some work on this since I last did some refinement about 2 weeks ago.

In general I think it's good to get the most usefull stats in the default note-viewing area w/o having to scroll down...I got some more work to do on this.

Is there a way to change the default viewing settings for the notes ie making the the box open with say 7 lines rather than 5 lines???

I'm no software geek but used to romage around other programs ini's w/success- the ini files in Party have zero info

{{V: 100 - R: 100 - H: 333 - P: 100 - F: 100 - T: 100 - R: 100 - NF: 100 - CR: 100}}

V=VP$P
R=PFR
H=hands
P=pre-flop fold%
F=flop fold%
T=turn fold%
R=river fold%
NF=no fold%
CR=check raise%

I'm mostly playing NLH 6-max these days. In limit I like steal%, SB defense vs steal, and BB defense vs steal, along with the top 3 above.

I went back to Illuminous' note exporter. I really really don't like the formatting of the new one in PT.

And I have major problems with adding my own notes to that one.

I like to keep preflop actions / hands shown down in various positions. Something like "MPr2KQs" or "LPcc44"

how is the other exporter different??
i like the ptracker exporter okay but since ive never had a different exporter before this doesnt really say that much....biggest problem with it i have is the fact that you can't distinguish between fullring and short.
i would just export hands with 8-10 players at the table if it would let me.

it's totally different too broad of a question. it's not as flexible however in that you can't choose which and in what order. however it doesn't have the all the extra white space which drives me nuts. It has a nice summary based on MS Sunshine's note-taking post.

Here's a thread where it was discussed you can go from here.

I've only recently started playing with PokerTracker.

I am aware of its basic capability to import/export player notes. I also know how to manually edit those notes inside PT.

I take it that there is some way of getting PT to automatically insert the latest statistics into the player notes when it exports them? I've been really wishing for such a feature but cannot find it.

It's HiddenInPlainSight under "Import/Export Notes" on the Utilities menu.

I can't get my version of pokertracker (2.00.06) to export anything at all into my notes file. it says it's exporting notes, but my notes file is unchanged. do I need to set up a filter somewhere first?

btw PT latest patch allows you to combine notes from more than one database.Not sure how this is going to work but I'm doing it right now.

Once it allows stats are we all trading databases or are we going to be a bunch of ethical little girlies?

You can have alllllll my data for the $25 and $50 NL games I've played /images/graemlins/smile.gif

I for one would definitely trade databases...even if only for the chance of seeing someone else's notes on me.

{{H: 67, VPIP: 31, PFR: 1, CR: 0
WSD: 48, W$SD: 25 <-- went to showdown and won $ at showdown
FF: 7, FT: 4, FRB: 33 <-- when they fold
ASB: 0, FSB: 0, FBB: 0}} <-- attempt to steal blinds and defend blinds

Not all that sure about the last line, but I'll keep it there for a little longer.
I do like to know how often people tend to fold on the flop. Seems as though the lowest number of folding occurs on the turn.

Has anyone found the cutoff size in terms of bytes that the Party(or any Party skin) Notes.txt file will stop forcing the client to hang on login.
It is somewhere between 0KB and 550 KB.

I have cut back from ~700 KB to 550 KB but Party and all skins still hang for almost exactly a minute on log-in.Is it say 200-300KB???
