Cap the river in the first hand. If he's got Q9, those are the breaks.

I saw that Dynasty posted (though I didn't read his post yet) so I'm not sure how much help I'll be, but...

hand 1: I'd personally slowplay it, but there was really no need for it, and I'd be wrong by slowplaying it anyway. that being said, I think you played this perfectly

hand 2: I think when you get 3-bet on the turn, you should slow down. It's looking more and more likely that you're against 75 or a set of 8's.

few comments:
- you absolutely don't need help. I wish I needed the amount of help you need
- it's better to overplay big hands than to see monsters under the bed, and start calling the turn

You raised when you should've called and called when you should've raised.

Hand 1:

On the flop I knew that my opponent had a 9, thats why I kept betting. When he bet into me on the river when the Q fell I concluded he had Q9, thus I only called the raise. My read was correct and he had Q9 and took the pot.

Hand 2:
I should have slowed down on the turn. I didn't think that 75 was a feasible hand but it was.

Hand 1: Cap the river.

Hand 2: Slow down after the turn 3-bet unless the river pairs the board.

First hand I think you played fine.

Second hand I think you should slow down on the turn. When he 3-bets you it sure look like 75. However, I would have trouble slowing down here as well, as I wouldn't give him credit for that hand.
