Hi :

I see a lot posters discussing getting bonuses from Blackjac/video poker etc.

Can someone point to a post or a web page of how are they doing this?



My basic understanding is (please correct if I am wrong):

1) Some casinos give deposit bonuses (depsoit $200, I get $500)
2) Then I need to wager 15 times the total = $10,500??
3) There are casinos that have autoplay for blackjack and they play I suppose perfect basic strategy?
4) Players setup the autoplay betting minimum bets until they meet the wager required and the expectation is that they will enough above the initial deposit of $200.
5) Some people play video poker because?? (better EV in some sites?)


Some question:

Where are the links for these casinos?
Why not play craps come with adds for a low -EV?

Any of the sites that people post would be full of affilliate banner ads for online casinos. Thus your are soliciting massive spam. On that note, I wish I had my own spam site to give you, but since I don't I think most people will agree that www.WizardofOdds.com (http://www.WizardofOdds.com) is a very useful site. www.onlineblackjackguide.com (http://www.onlineblackjackguide.com) is also a good one. Try to look for a few different sites and cross-reference their prefferred casinos.

Also to answer some of the questions:

Casinos using Microgaming Viper software have autoplay. For blackjack you can (and will have to) fix their strategy chart to match what is the perfect strategy.

Virtually all casinos offer some type of bonus, but clearing requirement vary wildly from impossible to rediculously easy (very few!). Researching the sites above for a couple of hours should help you figure out some of this.

Some people play video poker because some casinos do not allow blackjack (becoming more common to...ugh), and VP is usually the next best thing.

People don't play craps because just about all casinos ban craps (along with roulette and bacarrat) for bonus clearing purposes. This is because you can make low risk bets on those games.

Every month it seems casino whoring is becoming a bit harder (the Intercasino monthly match bonus has a 1x wager requirement a long time ago , its 25x now, for example), but it's still worth it for now. With a little seed money you can easily, and relatively safely build up a few grands to supplement your Poker BR.

Some things to think of:

- Always read terms and condition (T&C) VERY carefully. Sometimes they are hard to find at the site. Keep looking, at Banking, About Us, Promotions, etc. If you cant find it they use to give you a link in the mail you get when you sign up, but don't ever despot any money before you have seen the T&C.

- Before you deposit, save a copy of T&C on you computer. Before you start to play, check the T&C to see if they have changed. If they have changed, ask the casino what T&C is in effect for your bonus.

- Be aware if sticky bonuses. Usually there is a phrase hidden deep down in the T&C thats says the "bonus is just for wagering purposes, you can never withdraw it". Keep awayy from those bonuses (even though there are ways to exploit these to, see online blackjack guide forums).

- Beware of bonuses you are not aware of. Some casnos throw in a Neteller 10% bonus that will run your wager requirements up very much. Usually you will get $5 or $10 extra for that but will have to wager some $1000 extra to get it. Before you start to play, make sure you only got the bonuses you want.

- Don't play a cent before you have got your bonus/es. Wager requirements only count after you got the bonus. All play before that don't count. Though, some casinos require you to wager your deposit 1 ime sbefore you get ths bonus, even though the T&C donät mention it.

- Stick to casinos that are reputable according to reputable casino watch dog sites (Casinomesiter, Online Blackjack Guide, etc).

- If the bonus is good (low risk of ruin), play in GBP instead of USD, you will almost double the value of the bonus.

- Don't play multiple casinos from the same owner at once. Do one, cash out, then do another one from the same owner. Also, split up your play at several days, and play a bit more than is required. You don't want them to label you as an advantage player. When you're done with the bonus, if you have won, set aside some of that to play a bit of video poker, slots, etc. Wait some days before you cash out.

- When doinf autoplay as Microgaming Viper sites, make sure to play Vegas Strip (best payout, house edge 0.3606%). Also, make sure to change the strategy table (66 vs 7 and 77 vs 8 - Hit [no split]; A7 vs 4,5,6 - Double or stand).

- If you have any trouble with a casino, first try to work things out by email, then try to post about your troubles at Casinomeister, and last, pitch a bitch at casinomeister.

- Don't go for no deposit bonuses. Usually it is much better value to get the deposit (signup) bonus. If you once have taken the no deposit bonus, you cannot ever take the more juicy signup bonus.
