I was playing in a good 10-20 game at M.B. when I'm dealt j-8 /images/graemlins/heart.gif in the sb. There is one limper and the bb raises and I make a loose call. Flop comes AK7 with two /images/graemlins/heart.gif I check bb checks and ep bets and we both call. Turn is an 8. checked to the raiser who bets and we call. River is a blank and ep bets I think for a long time and this guy was in every hand an a lag so I make a crying call even though bb probably has me beat. BB flips over qq and I say good hand and as I'm trowing my hand in the muck he starts yelling I didn't call!! Dealer starts yelling are you sure you want to do that, but it was to late. Ep shows 6-5 of hearts for a busted draw and takes the pot. I felt soooooo stupid, but I learned a very valuble lesson. First, I played the hand badly and second I should have laid my cards on the table. I didn't go on tilt and ended up busting the lag for all his chips and went on to a 600+ payday. I learned a very valuable lesson here on how to play the hand and never muck until you see the cards and know you are beat.

When did Mandalay Bay start spreading 10/20?

They opened it up last wed night around midnight. I think some player well known to the casino requested it and they got enough of us to do it. I had been trying to get them to spread 6-12 for two days but everyone at the table had to agree and not everyone would. Ask one of the dealers who the middle aged guy was that requested the game. The dealer was a young guy with a shaved head.
