Wondering if anyone wants to meet up?

I'll prolly be there the evening of the 16th, but:

1) No one here really knows me
2) I'm wildly antisocial

I'm there a lot. If I'm gonna be there then, I'll throw you a pm.

Cool, haven't met any 2+2ers yet. Only been a member for less then a month. Would be nice to meet up with some of my fellow poseters.

I'm pretty sure based on that response no one would want to meet you anyway.

Lol, thanks Homer, it means alot when a person who calls themself by the name of Homer posts a reply to a message. Just because your fat, you drink to much, and Marge won't have sex with you doesn't mean you have to rain on my parade.

Dude, that reply was to sleepyjoeyt, not you!

I assure you, I would be happy to meet you if I lived in the area.

I'm not one of those snooty Carpal Tunnel posters who will only meet posters with a ranking of Enthusiast or above. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

LOL, sorry bout that, I even pmed you with my reply. If you are around look for a 22 year old kid with a molson hockey hat and some type of hooded sweatshirt or track jacket playing 4-8.

I'm hoping to head down there on the 16th. I'll let you know for sure later this week, and hopefully I'll see you there.

I may be down on the 14th but I'll be busy from the 15th to the 18th as my brother will be in town from California for one of our friends weddings.

I'll PM you earlier that week if I play on being down on that Wednesday.

Peace,
Joe Tall

All you guys seem to do is play poker and get married /images/graemlins/grin.gif

All you guys seem to do is play poker and get married

Well playing poker with the same guys for 22 years would put us well into marriage-age. Consider the core group is about 12 deep, there is at least one wedding a year, if not two now-a-days. However, after this one there will be 4 of the 12 left holding on to single-dom.

I intend to be the last one standing. /images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Peace,
Joe Tall

There are 2 possible responses:

1. He asked a question about meeting up. Some may consider me more polite than the dozens of others who read the post and ignored it - at least I replied to him and let him know my answer.

2. I was just f'n around - thought it would be a humorous reply. Granted, it wasn't that funny. But at the time it seemed alright.

Lighten up, Frances.

I doubt anyone considers your response more polite than not responding at all. Perhaps had you phrased it differently, I might agree.

Fair enough. It's difficult to tell the difference between when someone's being humorous versus mean-spirited on forums such as this.

Lighten up, Frances.

Yes sir.
