Hand evaluation for MP (7s 5s 6s Ks Qs)

$3 is raked from a pot of $159.
Hero wins $156 with flush, ace high.

So the flop bet may have been ill advised, but once made I figure the bet on the turn is worth a call on the nut flush draw. My pot odds aren't good enough, but I figure the made flush is good for implied in this case. What about the check raise on the end? Bad play? Did I blow this whole hand and I'm rationalizing? Beat me up.

Another note; the up front call with AJo is pretty debatable as well but I'm more interested in discussion of whether you've found folks with a lame flush to call the bare ace made on the river.
