Cross post from NL forum.

I play a NL home game in tournament format with 6 guys. Down to the final 2. I've got a ~4000 to ~2500 chip lead. Blinds are 150/300.

Opponent is aggressive/tricky player, currently playing a bit loose.

I'm dealt Q /images/graemlins/spade.gif 9 /images/graemlins/spade.gif. He raises to 600. I call.

Flop is J/images/graemlins/heart.gif T /images/graemlins/diamond.gif A /images/graemlins/club.gif. He bets 400, I raise to 800. He calls.

Turn is J/images/graemlins/club.gif. He checks. I go all-in.

Was this the right play? If not, how bad was it to make a stand on the OESD? I'm totally confused as to why I made this play, other than I felt commited to the pot.

Thanks for the comments.
