View Full Version : Blind steal turn decision

Hello everyone,

Here is a hand I watched a friend play online:

Hero is on the button and open raises with ATo

SB folds and BB 3 bets.

Flop comes down 84T rainbow, BB bets hero raises,

Turn comes [84T]K

He gets checked to.

What is your action? Continue betting? Check and call a river bet? Check and bet a river check?

Thanks,

Allan

I think you can bet the turn here. In a heads-up situation, you don't need to fear an overcard on the turn.

Regardless of what happens afterwards, you're definitely going to a showdown.

I bet, and then reevaluate if I am raised. If I am not raised, I will probably bet the river also.

Good luck,

Play well,

Hero checked it through on the turn and bet the river and got called and won with his AT.

I called him a wuss.......Seems like a free card is the last thing you wanna give here, winning it right here isn't such a bad deal and you will most likely get played with a bit if the K hit him....
