Here's a situation that came up at Canterbury Park last night. 6/12 game, UTG folds, UTG + 1 raises, next player is in act of calling when one of his cards flips up. The player next to him sees it as he was about to muck. I also saw the card from across the table. The raiser did not see it. It is folded around to the raiser who catches wind of the fact that one card was exposed and demands that it be shown. What's the call?

A folded card exposed to some players at the table should be turned up so all players can see it.

Sorry, as I read my post, I realized that I was not clear. The player who had called exposed one of his own hole cards. The next player obviously saw it, as did I.

If the card is live (part of his active hand), he doesn't need to show it to everyone, if the exposure was accidental.

If he's "flashing" it (purposely showing a card), then everyone is entitled to see it.

If the card is dead (folded or misdealt), then everyone has the right to see it.
