March showed the second heaviest US troop losses since the end of major combat operations at 82. April is off to a bad start with 10 just yesterday.

Yesterday was the first day of major uprising by the majority Shia population.

Other things you may have missed:

1) Iraqi people no longer suffer under dictator

2) Average US monthly traffic fatalities: 3,568
(source: NHTSA)

3) We try to keep military casulties as low as possible, short of sticking our heads in the sand.

Hope this helps,

W

1) Iraqi people now suffer under foreign military rule. You think foreign oppression is better than domestic?

2) How is this statistic the slightest bit relevant? The president's puppetmasters sent our young men into danger for ridiculous reasons and that's acceptable because people die in car crashes in the US? Last I checked the president didn't order Americans to drive. If he did then maybe that stat would be relevant.
