..that just leaves you dumbfounded?

6/12 live last week. I limp with AcJd, solid, or so I thought, LP limps, BB checks.

Flop: Jh 9c 4h

I bet, LP calls and BB mucks.

Turn: Kd

I bet and LP calls.

River: Th, for a final board of Kd Jh Th 9c 4h

I check, he gets this disgusted look on his face and checks, I show, and he mucks.

What the hell....

If he made even a movement towards his chips on the river my cards would have been somewhere in guatamala.

Only A9 and 98 make any sort of sense, but how could he even call on the turn? T8? And why the "I got sucked out on" look? I can't stop thinking about this hand, heh.

T8 makes the most sense to me. I can't see calling the turn with A9 or 98. Maybe the disgusted look was because he hadn't made a draw in a very long time.

sounds like he was chasing an A...

every other draw got there...

if he was solid, 98 and A9 should be gone on the turn unless it was hearts...which obviously it wasnt...

id watch his play, and see if he chases alot...sounds like he might...

Obviously he wasn't solid.

My guess is he played J-8 suited and the disgusted look was because he thought you sucked out pairing the King. Or he realized exactly what you had and that he was out-kicked.

otherwise, maybe bernie is right and he was chasing an ace, but that seems even more stupid to me for some reason...
