UB $.50 BB NLHE - 10 handed

I'm MP4 with A /images/graemlins/heart.gif 9 /images/graemlins/heart.gif and $51.45

MP1($85.60) limps, MP2($75.05) limps, I limp, SB($29.00) completes, BB($32.15) checks.

FLOP($2.50): 9 /images/graemlins/spade.gif 7 /images/graemlins/spade.gif 3 /images/graemlins/club.gif

Both blinds check, MP1 bets $2.50, MP2 calls, I raise to $10.00, blinds fold, MP1 calls, MP2 folds.

TURN($25.00): 6 /images/graemlins/heart.gif

MP1 checks, I bet $15.00, MP1 calls.

RIVER($55.00): J /images/graemlins/diamond.gif

MP1 bets $45.00, I think... and fold.

Thoughts?

Given that you've only got $3.50 left in your stack, I think you have to call this.

I had ~$26 left in my stack here, started the hand with $51.45.... limped PF($.50), bet $10 on the flop, bet $15 on the turn.... that's $25.50. Maybe you read me as the SB here.....

That's an easy fold. You've been betting into this guy with him calling, he obviously puts you on a decent hand, unless you've been bluffing in previous hands.

It's going to take a really gutsy move for him to raise $45 into a guy who has been raising into him for a nice amount.

Unless this guy had a great read on you, or is a big time bluffer, it's pretty safe to say you are beat.

He probably had JT for a gutshot on the flop with overcards or something. I can't think of any other reasonable way he would have played the hand like that, for any other holding.

Edit: Actually maybe he has a busted flush draw. I don't know. It does seem a little weird that he would be out like that if he had anything after check-calling the whole way. Either way, against the typical player I would fold.

Wouldn't be surprised if he had A /images/graemlins/spade.gif J /images/graemlins/spade.gif or a cautious J-J

My thoughts are that he made a set on the flop, or some other hand that he was trying to trap you on. Folding was the correct move. My guess is that he let you bet the flop and turn, and then got scared you would check the river, so he bet the pot.

T /images/graemlins/spade.gif8 /images/graemlins/spade.gif? Or possibly J /images/graemlins/spade.gif8 /images/graemlins/spade.gif? Or even 4 /images/graemlins/spade.gif5 /images/graemlins/spade.gif. You get the general idea.

Whatever, I think you're beat.
