Wonderful movie. Tim Burton should have rested his laurels on that and Beetlejuice. I find his movies now virtually unwatchable.

I completely agree, with the exception of 'Sleepy Hollow', which was one of the best looking films I've seen.

So I was the only one who liked Big Fish?

Sleepy Hollow: So close, but damn, what a wasted opportunity. Great cast and the film looked great as well...the story just fell apart though. I am all for giving them a chance for a do-over - that would be one I'd like to see.

I thought Big Fish was excellent.

I have yet to see that one... All I know is, any movie cannot possibly be as horrible as 'Jersey Girl', which I saw this past weekend. I went in thinking "Hey, it's a Kevin Smith movie, it can't be bad." Woo boy was I in for a surprise...

I don't remember a poker scene in "Edward Scissorhands". It's been a long time since I saw it, however, and there must have been one since otherwise why would you be posting about the film here?

I'll bet that when Edward Scissorhands is in the game, players request new setups quite a lot.

You're forgetting the first Batman movie.

I don't think the first Batman movie was his. I think he did one of the later ones.

sleepy hollow. Tim Burton makes allot out of not much of a plot. everything about the movie is fantastic except that it doesn't have much substance to begin with, so it gets kind of boring.

You just can't make a headless horseman scary, people without heads look silly.

However, can't think of a single better person to cast for his roll than christopher walken, that creapy ass MF.

I liked Big Fish.
It made my eyes sweat a little though.

On his last couple of films, I agree. But Ed Wood is a masterpiece.

I didn't like it much. Loved Martin Landau's performance though. Ed Wood just wasn't a very interesting person.

I don't know much about him; I think the character in the film is kind of interesting. Agreed on Landau; I also think it's one of the funniest films I've seen. That said, I don't find many films to be funny.

The Fatboy Slim video for Weapon of Choice with Christopher Walken dancing is one of my favourites of all time.

Duck Soup: one of my favorites, how could I leave that off the list? Harpo stomping around in the lemonade stand, the side car never leaving with the motorcycle, the iconic mirror scene . . .

I should also have added Modern Times to my list.

John,

That movie is all time hysterical.

Just be careful crossing the street. /images/graemlins/wink.gif

" We have an injured rabbit also "

" Who's the father? " or best yet

" I'll do my best, but news does tend to travel a bit fast around here "

Hi Roger,

I think you gave The Birds to someone else; I have your copy of the BFI look at The Terminator.

Best,
