ROFL, man you totally crack me up. I Haven't read the Sklansky book, but I have read all three volumes of Poker Essays and I highly recommend them. Quality content throughout all three.

If I wanted to be a heart surgeon, I would pick Poker Essays volume II. Yes, definitely that one.

Okay. That wasn't too hard. Now for a much harder question: If you wanted to be a Japanese chef, which book would you pick?

I know. It's a tough one.

Even if you could only get one, I still recommend all four.

I ask this because I can get one of the following 4 books (the other ones I can get I already have). Ray, I find it ironic you posted first. I just purchased your Hi-Low Split book for Advanced Players when browsing at the local Casino Store. I didn't even know you posted until afterward. Thanks in advance!

if you play poker above micro limits for more than 5-6 hours this month, than you can afford all four.

if you can't afford all four after playing 5-6 hours this month, then you need all 4 even more..

cheers..

it'll make sense later..

If one is Japanese already, isn't he a Japanese cook already? har har.

In any case: None. Go apprentice yourself to a "master" for 10 years.

To give too much attention to your lame but enjoyable none the less joke, he said chef. I'm an American but sure as hell am not an American chef.

I think that makes it impossible for me to be a Japanese Chef though, no matter how many poker books I read /images/graemlins/smirk.gif
