748 started, down to 20. I have just double up with aces to get a playable stack again.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t3000 (10 handed)

Button (t14480)
SB (t37064)
BB (t46307)
UTG (t3313)
UTG+1 (t30750)
UTG+2 (t21180)
MP1 (t73142)
MP2 (t33497)
Hero (t28444)
CO (t34175)

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with Q/images/graemlins/club.gif, A/images/graemlins/club.gif.
UTG raises to t3313 (All-In), UTG+1 folds, UTG+2 folds, MP1 folds, MP2 folds, Hero calls t3313, CO folds, Button folds, SB folds, BB raises to t9900, Hero raises to t28444 (All-In).

Initially I wanted to come in and see the flop for barely over 1BB. But I felt BB was trying to lose me to give him a 1 on 1 hit at the all-in who obviously is less likely to have a hand.

I would have raised UTG's all-in. Try to discourage anyone else from coming into the pot. Just calling makes you look like you need a flop. It also invites others to come over the top of you because there are 2 players who appear week in a nice size pot.
There's no calling in no limit... raise or fold. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

The initial all in then you coming over the top would say "ok guys i got him covered."

But a raise from teh BB always suggests power. I mean he couldhave taken HUGE odds to see a flop right along with you. But his raise says to me 1 thing value.

Fold is probably the best move here call isnt awful but if the flop misses u dont have any options. tough fold but I think neccesary.
Also had you raised preflop and THEN the BB came over the top of YOU it would be fairly apparent that he has big cards. Then u could decide if you want to gamble.

I would have raised the allin.

This all-in was a bit of a rush of blood unfortunately and it was costly. I guess if I raised to about 8k initially I could safely fold to the BBs raise.

Anyway he did have a big hand, QQ, and I didn't get an ace. Live and learn.
