You're playing $25 PL and hold a low PP in MP.

You call a $.50 BB, someone after you makes it $3, two other players call.

Do you call, knowing you have to hit at least trips?

I'm thinking yes.

With that many PF raisers I think I can get paid off enough to offset the 3-1 vs 7.5-1 of making trips or better on the flop.

Agree/disagree?

Is your hand going to win 1:7.5 times?

If the raisers stack is big enough that when you hit you will get paid off then certainly call. The immediate odds are not really relevant in this case, you are playing because of the implied odds of when you hit your hand you can take a big chunk of his stack.

you have to feel like you're gonna get piad if you hit...this is true for most opponents. and the payoff needs to be worthwhile (100x bb stacks minimum).

opponents who raise alot pre-flop (pot sweetners) and then check fold or take free cards on the flop should be re-raised here.

Unless he plays too honest you should fold here.
