Should I have checked the river?

obviously you bet the flop because you raised. obviously you bet the turn because you have a flush draw. but I don't like the river bet. nothing that can beat you is going to fold, as you learned, and literally everything you beat will fold

on the bright side, he saved u some money by being a calling station.

Any ace and most kings will call you here, and 90% of players will fold any hand you beat, so I see no value in betting this river. Other then that think you played it well.
