How many hands do you need to play per session to determine if you got lucky or you are a skilled player? Conversely - how long should you allow youself to recover if you've taken some bad beats early?

I guess the real question is how many hands does it take to get a decent distribution of starting hands?

How may licks does it take? /images/graemlins/smile.gif

1, 2, 3, .... hmmm

Only you and GOD knows!

Here is a clue though. If your bank roll starts to go up, your doing good. If your bank roll goes to zero, your doing bad. If you have to start asking for money, its over.

The point is, no one can tell you. No one really knows, but only pretend to know.

The best sign that your a winning player is, play until you stop asking that question. Then you will know.
