View Full Version : is 1 big bet/ hr. enough?

I have played thousands of hours at 5/10 holdem, many thousand. I make right about 13 bucks an hour (so actually 1.3 big bets).

I do occasionally play 10/20 but I can't say ive played enough hours to know what my rate would be in the long run.

I am a realist, and while I do enjoy the game, I am playing for money (as petty as $13/hr might sound!)

I would like to move up, and I have the bankroll todo it. My question to players who may have experience in this situation is: can I expect to make more at 10/20, or do I need to be beating the 5/10 by a larger margin before I move up ?

You're ready to move up permanently.

If you've played several thousand hours of hold'em at 1.3BB/hr then you probably already know the answer to this question.

If I could claim what you claim then I would move up permanently.
