So after 3 hours of non stop tight limit play, I decided to let out some loose agression on the $25 NL table on Paradise to get it out of my system.

After a couple hands I have about $40 in chips and am UTG with 72o. I know, I know, I'm just asking to give away my money here, but I'm playing this one for fun and open raise to $4.00.... and get 3 callers. /images/graemlins/smirk.gif

FLOP: 3 4 5 rainbow
This is about the best flop I can possibly hope for with my open ender. So I make it $15 to go and am called by caller #1 who is immediately raised by caller #2 to $30 who is then raised all in by caller #3.

Action is back to me. Easy call right?

Man, was Caller 3 pissed when he made a set with his aces and lost.

A priori, it is conceivable that you should play 72 a tiny fraction of the time so that others have to worry about the possibility you have two pair or sevens full of twos.

If you will play 72 less than 1/4 of the time you get it, is there any theoretical reason to play 72o instead of 72s? If you want to play 72 1% of the time, shouldn't that be 0% of the time you get 72o, and 4% of the time you get 72s?

Of course, in practical terms, 72o may be considerably more annoying for your opponents when you win, so perhaps it would be better to do the reverse: Never play 72s, but play 72o for tilt value.

Haha!! I can see that guy in front off me:

1. He takes his monitor and throw it out he window while yelling, "[censored] losers!!"
2. Then he proceeds with throwing his cordless mouse in the wall and continue to yell, "[censored] retarded losers!!"
3. Then he takes his chair and breaks it off his leg while counting to scream, "[censored] stupid retarded losers!!"

4. Tilt factor is complete.

Good job Chris! /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Nice.

I wonder what they put about you in their notes.

What would you have done if you were dealt aces?

I saw a guy do a similar thing at my table at the Bicycle casino this weekend. He *started* by throwing his cards at the dealer while cursing, and it only got more entertaining from there.

No doubt they put me as a loose fish. But little did they know that I was still throwing away the dominated hands like ATo and KJo to raises. The beauty of random raising with garbage is if rags flop and fit my hand perfectly they'd never know and I get paid off or may just buy the pot with constant bluffing and when I did have a legit hand, I'd get paid off because they wouldn't give my hands any credit.

For example, not too long after this 72o hand I won a random 2 pair hand with J5o and then was delt QQ the very next hand and made a set and I was rolling in the money when 2 people called my all in. /images/graemlins/smile.gif
