It's still just a local news story, but there was a terrible accident on I-95 in Bridgeport, CT tonight. An oil tanker turned over and burned, causing enough damage that the highway will be closed in both directions for several days or even weeks.

I would never assume it was anything but an accident, but WFSB's (a local CT news station) website has a story about terror threats on I-95 from earlier today, posted just hours before the accident, right under their story on the accident. Take a look here (http://www.wfsb.com/) if you are curious.

Seems like quite a coincidence.

I live about 3 miles from where that happened. I had not heard this news.

I'll need an alternate route to Foxwoods tomorrow AM.

Thanks for the headsup.

JTG, I saw an interesting set of articles yesterday, after a connecticut friend of mine told me that somebody broke I-95.

Terrorist Threat Against I-95 in Bridgeport (http://www.wfsb.com/Global/story.asp?S=1738716) (thursday morning)
No Terrorist Threat Against I-95 in Bridgeport (http://www.wtnh.com/Global/story.asp?S=1738603&nav=3YeXLo4p) (thursday 5pm)
Tanker Truck Has Destroyed I-95 In Bridgeport (http://quote.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=10000103&sid=aJ3hRczge7A0&refer=us) (thursday 7:45pm)

Though I must say, Sarah Waddle and Gilbert Robinson don't seem like names you'd find on the terrorist watchlist.
