Online 2-4 game.

I'm UTG and raise with AKo. I get 3 bet by a friend of mine who is in the CO. I call, it is heads up. I think here he has AK, AA, KK, QQ or JJ.

Flop: xxx, two spades. I check call.

Turn: Js

I check, and CO checks as well. Now I know he has AK. So I won't fold.

River: x

I check call.

We had a big discussion on whether he should bet the turn. I think he cost himself half the pot by not betting. His reasoning was that he figured I had 3 outs with something like AJ, KQs, KJs or that I would checkraise, so checking would be best in his opinion.

What do you all think of his turn play?

Comments on other parts of mine or his play are also welcome. I think checkraising him on the river might have been a good idea, since I was so sure he had AK (he did actually).
