What technically is micro limit?

I'd say anything from 0.01-0.02 to 1/2.

I've heard that $2/$4 is the lowest game normally played in the B&M poker rooms. Below that they can't pay the rent, dealers, etc. These games from 2/4 to about 6/12 are called low limit. When the poker room and dealer were replaced by software running on a cheap server, it became economically feasible to offer lower than low limit games. These new internet-only games are called micro limit.

Anything under $2/$4 qualifies.
