If you are on button in uncalled pot is it really correct to raise with small to medium suited connectors? I thought these only played well in multiway pots. I don't see how it ever makes sense to call with them. It seems the only reason to play them is if you think the blinds will fold. Anyway, I am a little confused here and would appreciate any comment.

as first player in on the button with low/medium suited connectors i would fold most of the time, unlessi knew the blinds were both weak/tight and unlikely to defend against a probable steal (unlikely at micro/low limits)

with big suited connectors i would raise...

You raise to try and steal the blinds or pick up the pot with a flop bet. If the blinds are very loose and crazy you need a slightly better hand.
