*I decided to cap here because I thought that there was enough chance of BB having AKs or AQs and the fact that everybody else was calling that it would be +EV for me to cap. Plus there is the fact that some players will 3-bet/cap with a marginal hand in order to build a big pot when they see lots of callers.

Flop: (30 SB) 2/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, A/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 5/images/graemlins/spade.gif (7 players)

*I bet to see who has what. It seems BB has either AA, or AKs/AKo. When he raises I check the fold button, but then the thought flashes in my mind that the pot is gigantic and I should have 2 outs, so I call

*This seemed to be a fold/raise situation. I knew raising would either fold everyone out behind me or lead to a 3-bet from the guy with a 9. When the two guys simply call I know I'm ahead.

River: (9 BB) 4/images/graemlins/heart.gif (3 players)

Hero checks, BB checks, UTG checks, MP2 bets, CO calls, Button folds, Hero calls, BB calls, UTG folds.

*I have some questions about this flop call. With the flush draw on board I think I should have bet the flop. But I didn't because I didn't think my K was best and didn't want to be confronted with raises and 3-bets from better kings. When Mp2 bet I figured that my chances of being best combined with my outs and the pot size justified a call.

Turn: (5 BB) 8/images/graemlins/heart.gif (4 players)
Hero checks, BB checks, MP2 bets, CO folds, Hero raises, BB folds, MP2 calls.

*This is IMO the perfect place for a check-raise. A blank that makes me 2 pair.

River: (9 BB) 4/images/graemlins/spade.gif (2 players)
Hero bets, MP2 calls.

River: (7 BB) T/images/graemlins/club.gif (2 players)
Hero bets, CO folds.

*I bet this on a whim. I knew I couldn't win in a showdown, but he didn't show any strength on the turn so I figured him for overcards. I had seen him fold on the river just like this a few hands earlier. I think this is an excellent hand that shows the value of betting draws hard on the flop. It masks the fact that your drawing to your opponant who might put you on a better hand. My only question is shoudln't I have also bet the turn to help represent a 3?
