View Full Version : It doesn't matter

Job goers are up at 6:30 in the morning to commute downtown for an hour, to work all day, to get back by 6:30, exhausted. That's 12 hours five days a week. In some jobs, more than that. One week I might play about 20 to 30 hours a week, or play only 7 to 9 months a year. It's all up to me. I wake and sleep when I want. Everyone else seems to carry an appointment book around, working out a schedule, using cell phones and e-mails and palm pilots, trying to stay organized. Me? Someone asks me "when's a good time for you to..." I always say, "anytime. It doesn't matter." Because it doesn't.

Sounds great, It sucks having to get permission from a boss to get time off. I could go into a rant but I will just say this-jobs suck. Well mine does anyway. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Hey Dutch

From: Stew

how's it going man? I ran into you at the WSOP last year, we briefly talked about RakeFree and I was interested. However, I tried to contact you a few times through RGP and your weblog, but never had any success. I'm still interested if you need additional investors for your site. The business plan looks solid. Sorry about the flaming you are getting in the forums, but these people just don't understand.

LOL, um, Hoppy, hate to break it to you, but Sillybum has never denied being Dutch, no need to PM him.

I figured I'd forward your PM you accidentally sent to me to the correct party. Wouldn't want you to miss out on your hopes and dreams Stew. Good luck!

Not a problem, glad to help. How much you going to invest in rakefree.com?

It sounds great if you are good enough to make it work and do not mind the uncertainty of it all. Yes, nothing in life is certain except death and taxes. However, professional poker is a lot less reliable than a regular job as a long term career. You may get fired in a regular job, but at least you have some useable experience for your resume and future work. A lot of things can happen to poker, especially online poker. Right now, online poker is extremely profitable and very accessible. Down the road, though, who knows?

Yes, I'm sure this is why you've posted that you're working as a consultant for an online sportsbook who's opening a poker site and touting PokerWorld here in every thread you can.

Give it up and go away slimybum. This board is an intelligent community who sees through your bs.
