This hand was in a Stars super. 72 entrants, top 12 get a seat in the big Sunday tourney. 13th place gets some pathetic amount of cash.

This hand was on Level One. Blinds are 10/20. I have T1470. My main opponent, the SB has T2100.

One EP limper, then another EP makes it 60. An MP coldcalls and I coldcall on the button with KdQd. the SB is also in so it's a 5 way flop with T320 in the pot.

Flop comes Ks 9h 3s.
SB bets out T100, folded to me and I call.

Turn is an offsuit 5.
SB bets out T200 and I raise to T600. He reraises to T1340 which puts me all-in.

What do you think of the overall way I played this hand?

thanks very much.

Why didn't you raise the flop?

Well, anyway, I think I would have raised the flop bet to 300. If he pushed there, I would fold (putting him on AA or a set, probably a set). It's too early in the tourny to be all-in with one pair, especially since 5 people saw the flop.

But now you have half your stack in the pot, and it will cost you the rest of it to see the river. You've got to figure you're drawing dead at this point (I put him on 9-9) , so fold to the reraise, and try to start building your stack.
